Please read the following Terms and Conditions carefully.
Please note that payment for services also implies full agreement with these Terms and Conditions.
All bookings are non-transferable.
Red Dog Training uses the principles of positive reinforcement for training and, as such methods are kind, fair and reward-based.
We operate to the code of ethics as
Harsh handling of dogs, physical force and the use of punitive methods, punishment, corrections or equipment designed to be aversive (including choke chains, prong collars, spray collars, e-collars (now illegal) or any other device deemed unacceptable by the hosts or presenters) are not permitted in classes.
Flexi leads (extending leads) and Slip leads are not permitted at classes to avoid injury.
SUITABILITY of DOGS.
Where dogs are attending classes, it is imperative that they are social with other dogs and people. If, however, your dog is not comfortable in these circumstances please contact firstname.lastname@example.org before booking.
Assistance dogs are welcome at all classes free of charge (unless participating).
PAYMENT, REFUNDS and CANCELLATION.
Online payment in full is required at the time of booking.
You are booking a space in the class and if you are absent there will be no refund as we are unable to fill that space.
There will be strictly no refunds from 14 days prior to any session.
Refunds are subject to a deductable admin processing fee of £4 (2020)
In the event of a session having to be rescheduled, these Terms and Conditions will apply, and a new deadline for refunds 14 days prior to the rescheduled date will become effective upon acceptance of the new date.
A refund will not be issued should you be unable to attend a rescheduled session. However, a credit will be issued for the purchase amount, to be redeemed against any other Red Dog Training session.
Refunds will not be issued in the event of a session having to be rescheduled or cancelled due to an instructor's travel issues. However, every attempt will be made to reschedule the session and any booked places. In cases where you cannot attend the rescheduled session, a credit will be issued for the purchase amount, to be redeemed against any other Red Dog Training session.
In the event of a session having to be cancelled with no future rescheduled date, due to an instructor's health issue or other natural / adverse event, refunds will not be issued, however, a credit will be issued for the purchase amount, to be redeemed against any other Red Dog Training session.
In the event of a session having to be rescheduled or cancelled, Red Dog Training will not be held responsible for financial loss incurred by clients who purchased non-transferable and / or non-refundable travel and accommodation, or any other related expense.
Children are very welcome to attend classes.
We ask that adults ensure that children do not approach or touch any dogs without appropriate supervision and permission.
We accept no responsibility for children at classes and it is the responsibility of the supervising adult to ensure the children’s safety at all times. In addition, children must not be allowed to disrupt the learning and we reserve the right to ask for disruptive children not to be brought to classes in the future. Young people under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Any instances of accident or injury must be reported to the session instructor at the time they occurred. Dogs present at classes must remain on lead and be kept away from contact with other dogs.
By booking a place at a session and therefore agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, you are accepting full responsibility for the protection of your dog from the potential risk of disease, including internal and external parasites.
Red Dog Training accepts no responsibility for the potential or actual exposure of dogs to disease when attending classes.
Do not bring your dog to classes if it has been in contact with another dog infected by a contagious disease or if it appears to be unwell.
We ask that bitches in season are not brought to classes without prior discussion.
PRIVACY & MARKETING.
Photographs may occasionally be taken during classes. Such photos may be used by Red Dog Training for the purposes of marketing. If you do not wish for photos of you and / or your dog to be used or shared, please let us know in advance of the session.
Written feedback may be used for marketing purposes. If you would prefer us not to use your feedback in this way, please let us know.
You are not permitted to take photos or videos without the express permission of Red Dog Training.
We make every effort to ensure the safety of you and your dog(s) during classes. By making a booking with us, you are accepting that participating in an activity with dogs, children and / or adults poses a risk of injury to yourself and your dog, and you agree to indemnify Red Dog Training for all personal injury and damage to property while attending a session. You agree to assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries or damages, known or unknown, which might occur as a result of you and / or your dog attending classes.
You understand and accept that your dog (and its behaviour) remains entirely your responsibility at all times.
Any personal information you give to us will be processed in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. We will use the information to process your booking, to provide the course and to inform you about similar courses which we provide, unless you tell us that you do not want to receive this information. Any personal data you provide may be held on computer files.
